This all-female intensive taught by SAK ensemble members Amanda Wirtz, Emily Fontano, and Chelsea Hilend takes an honest look at women in the entertainment industry, seeking to expose and combat notions that lead to jealousy, timidity, and unproductive competition. Together, we’ll build an ensemble that promotes fearlessness, directness, and most importantly, unwavering support of your fellow player. The class includes workshops in musical improv, show hosting, physicality, character, and long-form. Throughout, we’ll focus on articulating, embracing, and amplifying the assets and quirks that make you a unique and invaluable performer. Additionally, we discover what it takes to build a show from scratch, from constructing the format to creating the marketing materials. The intensive culminates in a show – completely created by, promoted by, and starring you.
PREREQUISITE - successful completion of SAK U level three.
