Clowning for Comedians, Improvisers and Performers -Second Level

Sunday, Jun 14th 2026 | Time: 9:00am

Price: $225.00 | Instructor: Layna Fisher

In Level 1, you discovered and uncovered so much. In Level 2, we build on that momentum and push further into what’s possible. We’ll continue exploring your unique connection to the comedic world, working from the body first—because instincts are faster than ideas. Through high-energy group work, solo exploration, and a bit of controlled chaos, you’ll generate material, expand your physical range, and step into a space that is not polished, and definitely not generic.

We’ll actively court the beautiful, the ridiculous—and yes, failure. Not as a gimmick, but as a tool. When something falls apart, something alive can happen. You’ll practice staying present, making bold choices, and responding in real time. Come ready to be seen, to take risks, and to get a little raucous (maybe a lot).

By the end, you’ll have a different relationship to performing: more immediate, more physical, and far less dependent on “getting it right.” Whether you are doing improv, clown or stand-up, that’s where the laughs live!

Ages 18 and up. **Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1. We will also have a lunch break midday.
