SAK Advanced Conservatory One

Price: $280.00 | Instructor: Brett Waldon

If you're looking for a more serious improv education, then this course is for you. Revamped from our original Conservatory class, Conservatory One builds on the improv skills studied in our SAK University Levels 1-4. In this advanced course, students will delve deeper into scene work and learn to create richer characters and deeper relationships at the top of the scene, as well as studying "the game" of the scene and how to build upon it. Two person scenes and a variety of long form improv formats will be the basis that the students will work with in this challenging yet fun course that will stretch and build your improv muscles. This class is a prerequisite for Conservatory Two (which will debut in the June session), which will encompass both classwork and performances.Prerequisite for Conservatory One: Successful completion of SAK U levels 1 through 4. PLEASE NOTE: Students repeating this class must wait two days after registration opens to sign up, in order to receive the discounted repeat rate. Any repeat registrations transacted before two days will be charged full rate. This is to help provide opportunity for students who have not yet taken the class to do so.
