Saturday, Jan 24th 2026 | Time: 11:00am

Hone your comedic skills in a unique environment!

Price: $125.00 | Instructor: Layna Fisher

This five-hour long class (11 am - 4 pm) will hone your comedic skills, help you in creating material, free you physically on stage and make you a more dynamic performer.

Through group and solo exercises we will find the rules and break them. No prior experience is needed, you will be guided through games and interactions with the audience and your fellow performers.

We will move through awkwardness into hilarity, show up as yourself on stage and show us who you can be and create from circumstance and the body, to get the most engaged laughs.

"Clown" is the modern way of describing immediate, exciting, engaging, comedic performance. This type of training and performance utilizes and showcases all of who you are as a performer. Current shows running in this trend are "Weer" by Natalie Palamides, "HaHaHaHaHaHaHa" - by Julie Masli and "Stand Up and Clown" in LA by Chad Damiani, wherein Stand Ups are brought on stage to try "clown" for the first time in front of a live audience. UCB and every acting program in the US has added clown to its curriculum for Grad and UnderGrad programs. Yes...it's a big deal - get in on this trend with one of the most trained up clowns in the land and get some new laughs that will surprise and delight audiences.
