This course is a six classes of mashup of short- and long-form musical improv. You’ll discover the high-energy fun of short-form musical games and deepen your storytelling within a long-form musical. In the short-form half, you’ll practice hooks, choruses, rhyme, and genre play. In the long-form half, you’ll weave improvised songs into sustained scene work. The course includes a showcase on Thursday April 16, featuring musical games and a mini improvised musical. Singing experience is not required—just enthusiasm to leap, support your team, and make bold musical choices.
PREREQUISITE - completion of SAK level Two or above, or at instructor’s discretion.
