Melanie Leon

Melanie is an improvisor, actor, and writer in Orlando, Florida. She is CEO of The Improv Network, has toured the country with a comedy show, and continues to travel to improvise and teach at festivals. She performs in both improvised and scripted theater, sketch, commercials, and film. Melanie teaches improv classes, applied improv workshops, and made-to-order corporate workshops, coaches troupes, uses improv at local hospitals to help better train medical professionals, and uses improv to help train difficult leadership topics for the US military. Locally, she performs, hosts, and teaches at different places, including the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and SAK Comedy Lab, performs with her own indie teams, is a producer of the Orlando Fringe Festival, and is the Associate Producer of the Central Florida Improv Festival. Melanie has studied across the US, including at Second City, and has been lucky enough to learn from and work with some of the best current improvisers.
