John started with SAK in 1992, taking the first set of organized classes SAK offered. He was an original cast member of the “SAK Next Generation” show which featured promising new improv performers. Several years after being promoted to the professional weekend Ensemble, John moved to the West Coast and spent 1998-2004 in Los Angeles and Seattle, writing for TV shows, performing, writing and producing sketch and stand-up, and exploring many facets of improv with a wide variety of theaters and philosophies. In 2004 he returned to Orlando, and SAK, and is the currently the Director of Operations for the theater, and Vice President of the company. Although no longer new or promising, John still enjoys occasionally performing in shows and being killed by Chris Dinger in every scene.
